Enrollment Information 2015-2016
Congratulations and welcome to the St. Andrew’s School community. Please find information below regarding the upcoming school year. As always, please do not hesitate to contact the office of admissions should you have any additional questions or concerns.
For the upcoming school year, we will be shifting all student medical information to an online database. There are many benefits to this change including less paperwork for parents to complete each year and having more accurate information that is accessible to parents and the appropriate employees at our school. The management system we have adopted is called Magnus Health SMR (Student Medical Record). As this is a web-based system, you will have continuous access to your child’s health record as well as the ability to make updates when needed. You will also have the option to take the digital health file with you after your child graduates.
On June 1, 2015 you will have access to your Magnus Health SMR account. Magnus will be sending out an email on this date with your user information and step-by-step instructions for logging on. We ask that you enter the health information required within your Magnus Health SMR account for each child attending St. Andrew’s School no later than August 1, 2015.
Timely submission of health information and other forms is vital so that preparations can be made prior to the first day of school. You will receive weekly reminders as long as there are outstanding items in your account. Please reserve 20 to 30 minutes per child, depending on particular circumstances. The good news is that you will not have to repeat this work next year: the data is securely stored, so going forward you will simply provide updates to the record as needed.

Online Campus Community
Once available, you may view your schedule via our online campus community. Login information will be sent electronically to your parent’s email in mid-July. If the email address you provided for your parents has changed, please email email@example.com with the updated contact information. Please note that you will receive your login information, password, and school email address at registration.
All students are required to purchase textbooks for their scheduled classes. After you have viewed your schedule, you will need to create an account at classbooks.com where you will find a list of required texts for your courses. You may purchase textbooks at classbooks.com or through the vendor of your choice. If using an alternate vendor, please make sure the ISBN numbers match.
If you are a resident of Rhode Island, you may be eligible to borrow books through your local school district. Rhode Island loans textbooks free of charge to all pupils of elementary and secondary schools including private schools. Local school districts must loan textbooks in reading/language arts, history/social studies, science, math, and modern foreign languages, as well as texts for some other subject areas. However, the only books that can be loaned are books being used in the public schools of Rhode Island as published on a state approved textbook list. Please contact your local school district office for additional information.
