STUDENT LIFE AND ACADEMICS
An academic year consists of two semesters (Total of four quarters - eight weeks each)

Dress code: Promotes spirit of excellence. Dress code covers class time, all school
activities, and informal and formal occasions. Permited and prohibited clothing and
grooming styles are detailed in the Student Handbook, which outlines St. Andrew's
policies for students.
TECHNOLOGY
In addition to five campus computer labs and two mobile laptop carts, every campus building is wired for Internet access including the dormitories. The library has over 14 computers for student use. Computers are used in course instructions beginning in Grade 3, and all students are given e-mail accounts.
SUMMER AND ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS
Multiple community-oriented sessions in the arts, athletics, sciences, and recreations are held on campus and at off-site facilities. ACT@ St. Andrew's (ACTSA) is a premier children's theater offering classes and camps in theater arts for ALL youth; grades K-12. Programs include the ACTSA Ensemble, consisting of students ages 8-18, who perform full-scale productions throughout the year at the McCulloch Center for the Arts. ALL programs are open to the public.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
All Upper School students must complete community service, independent of coursework as a graduation requirement. The required hours for 2011-2012 was 4,310 and students completed 9,543 hours of community service for a per student average of 55.48 hours. This is a 17% increase from last year's 8,152 hours completed.
