St. Andrew's students are not only involved in traditional daily academics, but participate in activities and athletics after classes end for the day. Activities range from weight training and conditioning in our state-of-the-art Fitness Center, to singing in the Chorus, to biking around the town of Barrington with its waterfront setting, to acting on stage and working behind the scenes of our lastest theater production, to participating in the on-campus ropes course in Project Adventure. Our athletes are members of the soccer, cross country, baskeball, lacrosse, tennis, and golf teams. Students also participate in the production of the Yearbook and also help members of the community inside and outside of St. Andrew's by volunteering many hours of community service.
Our community of student leaders are members of the Honor Society, assist as Dorm and Library Proctors, and are student Ambassadors of the School for events such as the Admissions Open House, They are class representatives and participate as Chapin List members; St. Andrew's most prestigious leadership appointment deemed worthy of the community’s trust and expected to act as role models for the rest of the student body.
St. Andrew's students are encouraged to develop existing interests, and to devote themselves to trying out new ones. Being engaged and involved can open doors to self-discovery and personal expression.
