International Student FAQs
Q. Where do St. Andrew’s International Students come from?
A. Each school year, we have students from all over the world. Students have joined us from South Korea, Germany, South America, Africa, China, Japan, and Cambodia to name a few.
Q. If I am an International student, do I need additional testing for entry?
A. In addition to the Application materials required of all applicants, International Students must also supply us with a Secondary Level English Proficiency (SLEP) Test or Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), the level of which is clearly indicated. Q. Do you offer ESL programs for your International Students?
A. Yes. In fact, all International Students must begin their career at St. Andrew’s enrolled in an English as a Second Language (ESL) class. The course level is determined by our ESL teacher following an interview with the student, as well as review of admissions materials.
Q. Are International applicants required to visit St. Andrew’s prior to their acceptance?
A. No. While a personal tour of the campus is not required, it is strongly encouraged. An interview is necessary, but if students or their families are unable to visit St. Andrew’s, we will happily schedule a phone or Skype interview.
