Rhode Island Scholastic Art Awards
Students submit their works to regional programs of The Scholastic Art Awards presented by the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers and its regional affiliates. Students can earn opportunities for recognition, exhibition, publication, and scholarships.
Across the country, works submitted by students are reviewed by panels of arts professionals. Awards include Honorable Mention, Silver Keys, and Gold Keys in the regional Scholastic Art Awards of 2013. Works designated as Gold Keys are forwarded for national level review in February 2013

The Rhode Island regional awards ceremony took place at Salve Regina's O'Hare Academic Center (Ochre Point Ave.) Building 8 in Newport on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at 2:00 pm. The Exhibition of work is displayed Tuesday, January 22nd – Wednesday, February 6th at The University Gallery at Salve Regina Antone Academic Center - Building 18. (Gallery Hours: Monday & Thursday 11:00 am - 4:00 pm, Friday 11 am - 1:00 pm, and Sunday 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
