Tuition and Financial Aid

Applying for Financial Aid

A St. Andrew's education is a significant investment in your child’s future. While it is our goal to make a St. Andrew’s education accessible for all qualified students, the school is unable to meet the full needs of every family. Families applying for financial assistance bear primary responsibility for paying the tuition and all additional costs to the best of their ability.

Please note, financial aid decisions are made independent of admission decisions and the number of qualified applicants exceeds the resources available. Therefore, it is possible that some students may be placed on a financial aid waitlist. Financial aid covers tuition and, in the case of boarding students, tuition, room, and board. Additional expenses, such as books and field trip fees, are the responsibility of the family.

Financial Aid Program

Program Goal

Recognizing that families seeking a St. Andrew’s School education bear the primary responsibility to pay the tuition and additional costs, the goal of the financial aid program is to bridge the gap between family contribution and total cost of attendance. Financial aid is awarded on the basis of documented financial need of the family and the availability of funds.

Financial Aid decisions are prioritized in the following order:

  • Current St. Andrew's School families who have received aid in the past, apply on time, and qualify for aid.
  • New applicants to the 6th and 9th grades who apply on time and qualify for aid.
  • Current St. Andrew's School families who have not received aid in the past, apply on time, and qualify for aid.
  • Current St. Andrew's School families who have received aid in the past, qualify for aid, but apply late.
  • New applicants who qualify for aid but apply late.
