Louis W. Downes College Scholarship
Designated to help fund the college education of graduates of St. Andrew's, the award is presented for the first time at commencement and may be renewed each year for a total of four years. Mr. Louis W. Downes (1865-1953) was the inventor of an electrical fuse used in subway cars and a founding partner of the D&W Fuse Company in Providence.
Leslie A. and Lilian P. Walker Memorial Scholarship
Established in 1973 by Les Walker, MD '42, the Leslie A. and Lilian P. Walker Memorial Scholarship is a one-time college scholarship given to a graduating senior at commencement. The recipient is determined by a vote of the faculty and goes to a senior who has demonstrated potential for future contributions to the lives of those around him or her.
St. Andrew's Parent Association Commitment to Community Scholarship Fund
Established in 2009, the fund provides a one-time college scholarship to an invididual that best presents how community service has had a positive influence in their lives. All graduating seniors who have been accepted to an accredited institution of higher education are encouraged to apply and the recipient is chosen by a subcommittee of the Parent Association.
Elizabeth H. Greene Scholarship
This one-time college scholarship is awarded to select graduates from St. Andrew's School during Commencement.
