Rooke Library

The Rooke Library is located in the Owing Stone Academic Center — the hub of the Upper School. With more than 12,000 books, periodicals, videos, reference materials, and ebooks, the School library is also a beautiful space to study, work, or just read. It is equipped with 14 computers with high-speed wifi internet connections, as well as additional connectivity drops for students with their own laptops. Two meeting rooms and a sitting area overlooking a garden with bird feeders make this a popular spot on campus.

All members of the St. Andrew’s community (students, parents, trustees, faculty, and staff) are eligible for library privileges in the Rooke Library. The collection includes books, newspapers and periodicals, CDs, books-on-tape, DVDs, reference materials, and ebooks.

St. Andrew's School's Rooke Library is connected to RICAT, a complete, web-based library automation solution using Follett’s “Destiny” Library Manager software. Through RICAT, the library’s catalog is available in the library, in classrooms, and at home — wherever there is a connection to the world wide web.

Celebration Book Partners

Honor that important someone — such as an important teacher or a dear family friend — or a special occasion with the donation of a Celebration Book to the Rooke Library. A special bookplate can be placed in the book so all will know about your thoughtfulness. Contact the Director of Library Services to discuss possible titles that would be welcome additions to the library.
