Connecting as a Community

There are three categories of activities: on campus, chaperoned, and independent. While most activities are chaperoned by a faculty and staff member, there are independent activities that usually involve students being dropped off and picked up at an agreed upon location by a chaperone.

For example, students can be shuttled to and from the Providence Place Mall to go shopping independently.

Our faculty and staff get involved on campus in every way possible, including leading or chaperoning weekend activities with students. Additionally, each weekend there is an Administrator on Duty (AOD) who oversees the weekend, serving as point person for families, students, and faculty and staff on duty. 

Many of the activities are free, especially those on campus. Students may always choose to bring pocket money for drinks, snacks, or a souvenir.

For activities requiring a fee, St. Andrew's may cover some or all of the cost. Depending on the activity, students will be responsible for covering the entire cost or additional costs.
