Tuition and Financial Aid

We recognize that not all families interested in St. Andrew’s School may be able to afford the full cost of tuition. Financial assistance is available in the form of need-based aid and payment plans. Please note that St. Andrew’s cannot guarantee funding to all applicants who qualify.

St. Andrew’s partners with Clarity to process financial aid applications and ensure a fair assessment of each family's financial need. Using your financial information and tax documents, Clarity provides an estimate of what your family can contribute toward tuition expenses. This estimate acts as a starting point for our Financial Aid Committee as they carefully determine an objective financial aid decision for your family.

There is a $65 fee to submit, and you can share your application with additional schools that accept the Clarity Application for no additional charge. Simply use the dropdown menu in the application to select those schools.

If you need support during the process of completing your application, there is in-app support available through the “Help” button in the bottom left of the screen, as well as email and phone support at [email protected] or 206-210-3752, in both English and Spanish.

Financial Aid Program Goal

Recognizing that families seeking a St. Andrew’s School education bear the primary responsibility to pay the tuition and additional costs, the goal of the financial aid program is to bridge the gap between family contribution and total cost of attendance. Financial aid is awarded on the basis of documented financial need of the family and the availability of funds. Because of the significant resources required to support our unique Learning Support Program, financial aid is typically not available to offset these additional fees.

Financial Aid decisions are prioritized in the following order:

  1. Current St. Andrew's School families who have received aid in the past, apply on time, and qualify for aid.
  2. New applicants who apply on time and qualify for aid.
  3. Current St. Andrew's School families who have not received aid in the past, apply on time, and qualify for aid.
  4. Current St. Andrew's School families who have received aid in the past, qualify for aid, but apply late.
  5. New applicants who qualify for aid but apply late.
